A staff team made up of individuals that work at the Neurospace Centre in Grimsby have put on their hiking boots, to raise funds for autism support across North East Lincolnshire.
No really – they are – this isn’t an April fools!
They are raising money for Faraway to deliver 1-2-1 Peer Support and engaging social groups to autistic people, and to fund other fantastic projects.
Faraway Director and soon-to-be intrepid hiker, Laurie Kennedy, commented on the fundraiser. He said:
“I am really touched by the amount of dedication the team has to the cause. We live and breathe autism. So far, the support from everyone has been great.
“To be halfway to our goal before my boots have even gotten dirty has been overwhelming for me – in a good way.”
